abstract:The Defense Security Service (DSS) is an agency of the United States Department of Defense (DoD). Within areas of DoD responsibility, DSS is tasked with facilitating personnel security investigations, supervising industrial security, and performing security education and awareness training.
As it happens, there is a relatively small and largely unknown unit within the DefenseSecurityService (DSS), known as the Foreign Supplier Assessment Center (FSAC).
The ministry said Russia's Foreign Ministry, the Federal SecurityService and the Defense Ministry were alerted to the attack, and the Russian government established contact with rescue centers in nearby Seychelles and Kenya.
It's producing automation and control devices for the nuclear industry, and its major clients include the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of the Interior and the Federal SecurityService, among others.
