The Cray XC30 supercomputer is made possible in part by Cray's participation in the DefenseAdvancedResearch Projects Agency's (DARPA) High Productivity Computing Systems program.
The other was Mari Maeda, an obscure program manager at the DefenseAdvancedResearch Projects Agency(DARPA), who described her work on Advanced Soldier Sensor Information Systems and Technology (ASSIST).
