abstract:Congenital chloride diarrhea (CCD, also congenital chloridorrhea) is a genetic disorder due to an autosomal recessive mutation on chromosome 7. The mutation is in downregulated-in-adenoma (DRA), a gene that encodes a membrane protein of intestinal cells.
