As a child and teen, I studied a variety of languages, including Latin, German, classical Greek, and Hebrew, but I never learned enough to be considered fluent by any stretch of the imagination.
Obsessed with languages, Wedeman is fluent in Arabic, Italian and French, has a working knowledge of Hebrew, and has studied Japanese, Russian, Farsi, ancient Egyptian, and classical and contemporary Mongolian.
