In a statement Thursday, FEMA spokesman ClarkStevens said FEMA "agrees with the Inspector General's findings" and has already made great progress in developing policies and actions to address concerns about formaldehyde emissions.
"As the president has made clear for some time, immigration reform is an important priority and he is pleased that progress is being made with bipartisan support, " a White House spokesman, ClarkStevens, said in a statement.
