For the premiere of "Wilde Salome, " which is open to the public, producer Barry Navidi says "it was a no brainer" to hold the event at the Castro, especially since Mr. Wilde visited SanFrancisco 130 years ago.
The Castro was designed in 1922 by Timothy L. Pflueger, a prominent SanFrancisco architect who also designed the Telephone Building in the South of Market neighborhood.
