Objective To discuss the effect of the calcaneocuboid joint arthrodesis on the weight- bearing area of subtalar joint and its clinical significance.

Results A significant decrease in the threedimensional kinematics of talonavicular joint was observed(P<0.01)in cadaver model following calcaneocuboid arthrodesis.
