The streets were quiet as I made my way towards our home. I could see one or two faces, faces of people looking out windows or doors to make sure that the intruder wasn't there to harm them. I could see the same fear in their eyes that I felt all my life. The fear that one day, it would all end. The fear that one day, they would come and destroy us, brutally murder us. And then there would be nothing left.
