The invention provides a method of preparing SBS/calcium carbonate nano composite material, which includes steps: adding nano calcium carbonate and surface treatment agent into organic solvent and dispersing for 1-20 min at 10-65 DEG C to obtaining mixed emulsion, adding the mixed emulsion into SBS glue liquid and dispersing for 10-30 min at 30-70 DEG C, boiling glue, eliminating the organic solvent and obtaining the SBS/calcium carbonate nano composite material; or adding the nano calcium carbonate directly into the SBS glue liquid and dispersing for 30-60 DEG C, boiling glue, eliminating the organic solvent and obtaining the SBS/calcium carbonate nano composite material. The nano calcium carbonate particles in the composite material reach to nano-scale dispersion, thereby exerting action of filling and improving SBS capability of inorganic nano particle, increasing abrasion resistance of the composite material and reducing cost.
