abstract:The Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, or AACF, is a non-profit advocacy organization which encourages public policy in Arkansas that will benefit children and their families. Its mission statement is "to protect and promote through research, education and advocacy the rights and well-being of Arkansas children and their families, to assure that they have the opportunity to lead healthy and productive lives.
During that time,she worked to improve the education system in Arkansas and served on the Children's Defense Fund and the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, an organization that she helped create.
