The argument is that while BAS science has yielded the discovery of the ozone hole and other important findings on the glaciers and biology of the AntarcticPeninsular, the future lies in collaboration.
Substantial parts of the Antarctic(peninsular and western sheet) are melting, as has been the case for 7, 000 years, but other parts in the East are actually getting thicker.
