This paper is based on the project of 42m cast iron pipe annealing furnace of Handan Jin Xin Iron Factory due to Dalian Wantong Industrial Equipment Company Ltd. It analyses the basic theory and method in detail about how to apply the PLC and computer to design the automatic control process for the annealing furnace. This method replaces the old relay control mode that mainly bases on the manual operation.
