In combination with the reality of Chengmenshan Copper Mine and in light of the factors influencing the ore diltuion loss, correspondent measures were taken, such as improving the accuracy of geological data, optimizing the equipment configuration for mining and stripping, selecting rational advancing orientation of mining line, adopting slicing mining and stripping and strengthening in situ management. As a result, the ore dilution was reduced by 3%～ 5%, achieving good benefits.
