磁层顶（英文：Magnetopause）是太阳风和磁层的交界区，它区分出太阳风和磁层的磁场和等离子体。磁层顶位形变化反映太阳风变化，影响磁层内部磁场，也影响磁层内部各电流体系和各区域空间分布状况。所以磁层顶位形是空间物理学中一个重要的参数。
