弹性纤维（elastic fiber） 含量较胶原纤维少，但分布广。新鲜状态下呈黄色，又名黄纤维。在HE染色切片中，着色淡红，不易与胶原纤维区分，用醛复红能将弹性纤维染成紫色，弹性纤维在疏松结缔组织中略呈黄色，折光性强，富于弹性。
