神经元胞体或树突内大的嗜碱性团块和颗粒,又名“嗜染质”。旧称嗜色体。轴突及其起始胞体部则无。为尼氏(Nissl,1892)首先发现,故得名。在一些大型运动神经元,尼氏体大而多,色染深蓝或紫色,常给神经元胞体以虎斑外观,又称虎斑小体。亦可依该体的大小、染色深浅等,对神经元进行分类。
