宁理，毕业于合肥四中，1987年考入上海戏剧学院表演系，毕业后分配至上海人民艺术剧院；1996年，考入美国明尼苏达大学电影制作专业，三年学成归国后，从事演员和导演工作。 2019年，出演《刑警之海外行动》 ；7月，出演悬疑剧《沉默的真相》，饰演张超。
