一般均衡理论（General Equilibrium Theory），也称一般均衡分析（General equilibrium analysis）西方经济学的一种分析方法。与“局部均衡”分析方法相对。由法国瓦尔拉斯提出，现代西方经济学广泛使用。它假定一个社会任何一种商品（或生产要素）的需求和供应，不仅取决于该商品（或生产要素）的价格，而且取决于其他所有商品和生产要素的供求和价格。
一般均衡（general equilibrium）：将所有相互联系的各个市场看成一个整体进行研究的分析是一般均衡分析，此时的市场均衡是一般均衡。
