雾沫夹带是指蒸气穿过塔板上的液层鼓泡并夹带一部分液体雾滴到上一层塔板的现象。雾沫夹带会使上层塔板液层中易挥发组分浓度下降,导致塔板效率下降,破坏塔的正常操作。夹带量的大小主要与蒸气速度、蒸气密度、物料的物理性质(粘度、密度等)及板间距有关。采用较大的蒸气速度可保证产量,而为了防止雾沫夹带,蒸气速度不能过大,操作时必须选择适宜的蒸气速度。
