新月体是肾小球囊壁层上皮细胞显著增生，堆积成层，在毛细血管丛周围形成的新月形小体。主要由增生的壁层上皮细胞和渗出的单核细胞构成，还可有嗜中性粒细胞和淋巴细胞浸润，以上成分附着于球囊壁层，在毛细血管球外侧呈新月状或环状结构分布。
