摩押（希伯来文：）是罗得跟大女儿乱伦所生的儿子（创十九37）。他的后代和地土都称为摩押，而这民族便称为摩押人（mo^~a{bi^）。摩押的中心地带是死海以东的高原，在亚嫩河谷和撒烈河谷之间，不过有几段相当长的日子，它的领土伸展至亚嫩河以北的地方。
