世界气象组织（World Meteorological Organization，WMO）是联合国的专门机构之一，是联合国系统有关地球大气现状和特性，它与海洋的相互作用，它产生的气候及由此形成的水资源的分布方面的权威机构。 WMO拥有国家会员187个，地区会员6个。它的前身是诞生于1873年的国际气象组织（IMO）。WMO建立于1950年，次年成为联合国有关气象（天气和气候）、业务水文和相关地球物理科学的专门机构。
