河南新野人。1958年华业于华东师范大学俄语系。历任甘肃武威一中教师，秦皇岛二中教师，中国大百科全书出版社编辑，中国作家协会外联部干部、研究部研究人员，莫斯科大学亚非学院教师。1960年开始发表作品。1991年加入中国作家协会。
