钟同（1423—1455）字世京，江西吉安人，景泰二年（1451年）进士，次年授御史。景泰三年（1452），景帝废被立为太子的英宗长子朱见深，改立自己的儿子朱见济为太子。景泰四年（1453），朱见济死。钟同上书请复朱见深太子位。不久，礼部郎中章纶复上书请。次年八月，大理少卿廖庄又上书请立朱见深。景帝命将钟同、章纶下狱产。钟同被杖毙，章纶一直被监至英宗复位，始被释放。
