贝江位于融水苗族自治县境内，古称脊江，因流过县城背面而得名。发源于九万大山，汇集数十条支流，自西偏北向东南经汪洞、三防、怀宝、四荣、融水等乡镇，在县城北7.5公里处汇入融江。全长146千米，穿流于峰峦之间。
