杜木 亦称“杜梨木”，色呈土灰黄色，木质细腻无华，横竖纹理差别不大，适于雕刻。旧时多用此木雕刻木板和图章等。曾见山西商号所用微雕商标雕版，方寸之内人物、舟车，山川、屋宇等精致之极，并有数百蝇头小字于其上，令人叹为观止。此版即杜木镌成。
