傅东华(1893－1971)，本姓黄，过继母舅，改姓傅，又名则黄，笔名伍实、郭定一、黄约斋、约斋，金华曹宅镇大黄村人。1912年，上海南洋公学中学部毕业，次年进中华书局当翻译员，开始发表短篇小说。1914年起，先后在东阳中学、北京平民大学附属中学、北京高等师范教英语。
