Also interesting is the scene of Mr Libbi's capture, in Mardan (see map in article), in North West Frontier Province, close by Pakistan's border with Afghanistan.
On May 4th, Pakistan said it had captured one of the organisation's most senior operatives, a Libyan called Abu Faraj Farj al-Libbi, often described as the group's third-in-command.
