abstract:Kiewit is a parish and township within the northernmost section of the Dutch (Flemish) speaking Belgian municipality of Hasselt. It borders on the municipality of Zonhoven to the north and Genk to the east, with Kuringen, a part of Hasselt, to the west.
Mr. Buffett said the deal will continue local ownership of the company, currently 80%-owned by employees and 20%-owned by the Pieter Kiewit Foundation, an Omaha-based charitable trust formed by the estate of a former World-Herald owner.
Project contractors Kiewit and the Penhall Company completed their work demolishing the southern half of the Mulholland Drive Bridge well ahead of schedule, allowing the 405 to reopen beginning at 11:30 am on Sunday, instead of 5:00 am Monday as planned.
