abstract:In Islamic societies, Hoor are women of paradise with "wide lovely eyes" [al-Dhukhaan 44:54] Al-hoor al-‘iyn are extremely beautiful, such that the marrow of their calves will be visible from beneath their garments (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 3014) and who are like well preserved pearls.
