Geithner et al. was brought by attorneys David Yerushalmi and Robert Muise, representing the plaintiff, Kevin Murray, a taxpayer and former combat Marine who served in Iraq.
Yerushalmi and Muise filed the amicus brief on behalf of the Center for Security Policy, the Thomas More Law Center, and the Society of Americans for National Existence.
"We think people higher in sexual communal strength are more focused on positive outcomes in their relationship, " says Amy Muise, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto and lead author of the study.
