位于鹿泉市北部 , 滹沱河南岸。距河北鹿泉市 23 公里 ,黄壁原名众乐乡 , 王莽篡汉时，王莽军队追赶刘秀 , 刘至众乐乡躲避 , 莽军受阻于滹沱河 , 刘秀得以安全。皇帝避难之所 , 即名皇避 , 后演化为黄壁。
