静修(meditation)，安静的修行，又译为打坐、静坐、沉思、冥想，还有译为心悟的。它是一种为了内在的安宁和超越所做的操练，因此这个词的翻译应该反映身心两方面，即身体的或外部的行为，和内在精神的目的与变化。
