达海(1595—1632年)，世居建州女真觉尔察地方（今新宾满族自治县永陵镇觉尔察城)，以地为氏。明万历二十三年(1595年）生，始祖索尔火，祖父博洛，父艾密禅。达海的一生是坎坷的一生。从其祖父时起，该氏族便跟随清太祖努尔哈赤从军参战，隶属满洲正蓝旗。天命五年(1620年)三月，努尔哈赤的小福晋代音札首告侍女纳扎与巴克什达海通奸，拟罪当死。因努尔哈赤惜才，命杀死纳扎，达海被锁在柱子上拘禁，险丧性命。
