生于宋太宗雍熙四年(987),卒于宋真宗天禧三年(1O19)。宋真宗大中祥符二年(1OO9)己酉科状元。“梁固为乙酉科状元梁颢之子。其年少时,即有志节,曾著《汉春秋》,倍受其父赞赏。梁固本已以父荫受赐进士出身,但其主动向登闻院提出收回成命,愿赴多举以真才实学获取功名,后高中榜首时,年仅二十二岁。中状元后,被授将作监丞,入值史馆,历户部判官、判户部勾院。梁固为人气调俊爽,善与人交,疏财慷慨,尚义气,明于吏道。马元方领三司时,临事多有纰漏,梁固屡奏朝廷,消除了财源流失之弊。
