方赫，1949年毕业于成都市立高级中学。1950年参加工作，历任成都市文教局干部，《川西说唱报》、《四川文艺》、《草地》编辑，《民族民间文艺》丛书主编，《四川文学》杂志作品组组长，《人世间》杂志副主编，编审。四川省作家协会第四届理事、第五届委员。
