慧方真身舍利（629～695）唐代僧。牛头宗第三祖。润州（江苏）延陵人，俗姓濮。于开善寺出家，受具足戒后，深研经论。后入牛头山，礼谒智岩禅师，咨询秘要，智岩观其根器堪任正法，遂示以心印，师豁然领悟。于牛头山参契，逾十年不出林薮，四方学者皆云集来访。后欲行随机利物，而以正法传付法持禅师，独自归隐茅山。武后天册万岁元年示寂，世寿六十七，法腊四十。［景德传灯录卷四］
