慈明（1904-1991）俗名陈万超，字福如，法名道参。江苏省高邮市伯勤乡三河村人。6岁时进本地普提寺依当年少林寺武术教练了庆禅师习武。后回家三年，重返普提寺依禅师剃度出家，法号慈明。
一九九九年举办纽西兰慈明寺第一届青年佛学营。
