【定香】 (一)五分香之一。密教以香比喻如来之法身，即戒香、定香、慧香、解脱香、解脱知见香等五种香。其中之定香，即比喻如来之真心常住寂静，不起妄念，不为惑乱所动摇。（参阅‘五分香’1067） (二)坐禅时，用以计量时间之线香。又长一尺者，称定香尺。此外，置于佛前，经常燃香不绝之香炉，称定香盘、常香盘。
