叶望，字世贤，雁门太守，汉末时为光禄大夫，灵帝时弃官归隐，人称“楼舟先生”。建安二年（197年）由青州渡江而南下，侨居丹阳之句容（今江苏省句容），为早期叶氏南迁之始祖。
