力之，本名刘汉忠，以笔名力之行世。男，汉族，1956年10月生于广东合浦县，合浦今属广西北海市，故亦称广西北海人。1992年毕业于四川大学中文系，获文学硕士学位。现为广西师范大学教授，博士生导师，中国屈原学会理事、中国《文选》学会理事。在《文学评论》、《文献》、《古典文献研究》等刊物上发表过近百篇学术文章，著有《<楚辞>与中古文献考说》一书。曾参与撰写敏泽主编的《中国文学思想史》，并负责该书第二版的核校工作，近年来为著名学者汤炳正先生著作的整理出版贡献颇多。
