所罗门说，耶和华以色列的神是应当称颂的。 因他亲口向我父大卫所应许的，也亲手成就了。
Then he said: 'Praise be to the Lord , the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David.
希兰听见所罗门的话，就甚喜悦，说，今日应当称颂耶和华。因他赐给大卫一个有智慧的儿子，治理这众多的民。
When Hiram heard Solomon's message, he was greatly pleased and said, 'Praise be to the Lord today, for he has given David a wise son to rule over this great nation.'
他说，求你请所罗门王将书念的女子亚比煞赐我为妻，因他必不推辞你。
And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king, (for he will not say thee nay,) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.
