Since his MLS debut midway through the 2010 season, Henry has scored 36 goals in 79 games, the second-highest tally in the league in that span behind San Jose striker Chris Wondolowski's 60 goals.
Wondolowski scored in the 92nd minute with his second try at the penalty kick, which initially came about when Jahn headed a corner kick into the left arm of New York defender Roy Miller.
New York goalkeeper Luis Robles saved the first attempt by Wondolowski, who tied the MLS all-time single-season scoring record last year with 27 goals, but referee Ricardo Salazar awarded San Jose another chance after Miller entered the penalty area too soon.
