The book is colorfully peopled with spy chiefs from Damascus to Delhi only too willing to provide sanctuary and operational support to Bhutto and his band.
What has to happen is that the leaders of both parties in both houses have to be willing to do the right thing for the country -- not the party, not a narrow band of constituents, but for the country.
Did the band want to preserve the mystique of this much-hyped performance to ensure a hungry and willing audience if there ever was a true reunion tour (probably a groundless concern with those 20 million lottery participants not going anywhere)?
