"The abusive men I have worked with say they don't use violence until they have their feet underthetable - usually until there is a wedding ring or the woman is pregnant, " says Craven.
"There's dirt under their fingernails, they probably don't use the best English or have the best table manners, but they have 10 to 20 employees, " Mathile says.
