Teusink demonstrated at the Hack In The Box talk how he could run a Metasploit exploit on the victim PC with just a few keystrokes to remotely hijack the machine.
With a bit of work, Teusink reverse engineered the communication protocol that Logitech device used to send commands to the PC, and eventually adapted it to the more modern R400 Logitech controller.
Teusink adds that the prototype slide hijacker he built has a range of only 30 feet, but that other publicly available hardware would allow a hacker to scan for wireless presenters within a full kilometer.
