If you suspect your child has a conduct disorder then talkthingsthrough with your GP who may advise an assessment by the specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
Instead of immediately snooping around for evidence of misdeeds or turning to an outside pro to do a thorough check, they say it's better to simply approach the spouse about the suspicions, and then try to talkthingsthrough.
It's just a wonderful place to gather and have a cup of coffee and talk about things that are difficult to talk about with people who just don't know what you're going through.
It would have been good to share my views with other fathers and I would have felt more able to talk about the things that worry me like the health of the baby and how I support my partner through the pain of labour.
