Last year, activists from Plane Stupid occupied the roof for three hours in protest against Heathrow expansion, resulting in five activists being found guilty of trespass.
Its dazzling white marble roof is a walkable, tilted plane that slips into the Oslo fjord at the building's lowest point, rising from the harbor's edge as a series of angled, switchback surfaces to the structure's top.
The design of the roof is inspired by a Wellington aircraft and incorporates sections of aluminum recovered from a plane that was shot down over Belgium on May 12, 1944, killing its crew of eight.
