Check back soon for posts about those books and my correspondence with their authors, but the point of both books is that mostpeople are not engaging with the tools that already exist to create value from their own knowledge.
In Europe, clinical guidelines exist which ensure that only those people who will benefit most are targeted for treatment, and this has led to prescribing levels of between 12% and 16%.
The reality is that a sacrifice of some sort will have to be incurred by the present generation for the sake of people who will exist many years from now, in richer societies than ours and, most probably, in countries not our own.
