We have learned that with the right curriculum, American students who spend a good part of a year fully immersed in developing and emerging market countries can gain the perspective and skills necessary to succeed in college and careers in a global economy.
Much of what prior generations have learned through work experience and apprenticeships, we have learned in ways that are not so easily reflected on a curriculum vitae.
The workshop will provide an opportunity to assess the key achievements, lessons learned and challenges from the process of developing comprehensive life skills curriculum on Sexuality, HIV Educative Prevention (LSHEP Curricular) in 2012 and to produce recommendations for implementing the LSHEP Curriculaumincluding setting up a monitoring and evaluation framework.
